Direct Debit Mandate – Terms and Conditions

For Parcel Delivery Services – UK & International

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Direct Debit for the payment of parcel delivery services provided by Go Post Logistics Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By completing and signing the Direct Debit Instruction (DDI), you ("the Customer") authorise us to collect payments in accordance with these Terms.

1. Scope of Agreement

This Direct Debit arrangement covers charges incurred for:

· Domestic and international parcel delivery services

· Courier and express shipments

· Handling and fuel surcharges

· Additional services (e.g. weekend, timed or oversized deliveries)

2. Payment Timing and Frequency

· Payments will be debited on a [weekly/monthly] basis or following the provision of services, as agreed.

· You will receive a VAT invoice at least 3 working days prior to the debit.

· Where the collection date falls on a weekend or UK bank holiday, the debit will occur on the next working day.

3. Direct Debit Guarantee

All Direct Debits are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee, which entitles you to a full and immediate refund from your bank in the event of an error.
You can cancel your Direct Debit at any time by contacting your bank and notifying us in writing.

4. Amendments and Cancellations

· To cancel or change your mandate, you must notify your bank and Go Post Logistics Ltd at least 10 working days before the next scheduled debit.

· Cancellation may impact your access to services and require immediate payment of any outstanding invoices via alternative means.

5. Failed or Returned Payments

· If a Direct Debit fails (e.g. due to insufficient funds), we may charge an administrative fee of £25.

· Repeated failures may result in service suspension and the account being placed on hold.

· Legal recovery proceedings may be initiated for unpaid amounts.

6. Customer Responsibilities

· You are responsible for ensuring your nominated account has sufficient funds at the time of collection.

· You must review invoices promptly and notify us of any discrepancies before the due date.

7. Data Protection and Security

· We process your personal and banking data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

· Your details will only be shared with third parties involved in the administration of the Direct Debit process (e.g. Bacs Payment Schemes Limited).

8. Changes to Terms

· We may update these Terms with 30 days’ written notice.

· Continued use of our services following notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

By completing and signing the Direct Debit Instruction, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
